Eyetoy: Anti-Grav Backup Problem
Eyetoy: Anti-Grav Backup Problem –

My DVD+R Backup is the only backup besides MK: Deception that has not worked! It loads then opens up my save loads it then the screen turns black (I waited one hour came back still nothing...) It acts like it is trying to read it but is unsuccessful! I am using the Cogswap exploit with my flip-top lid! It is reading the first part of the disc but not the game itself! So I know it is not the media I am using! any suggestions?

Don't quite understand your message! I do own the game and I like letting my nephews play so when they are a lil' older I can at least have more video game buddies! I don't understand what you meant by it being illegal! Because I own the game and I am not distributing it out or selling it...I mean the game wouldn't even freakin' work if I didn't own the eyetoy that came with it! Also notice I say it loads the data from my save (meaning I have played the real game and it is loading the real data both which I own)! arg! I hate being called a thief! Please help! All I need to know is why it loads up normal but can't get passed the game save data check (It should be the same game...The save is from the original...the back-up is a copy of the original so nothing should be different! I have also loading it with no MC and also with new save! None seem to work please help (and not tantalize)! I am using a sony DVD +/- RW burner on blank DVD+R media! I know my burner and media are fine because it plays the first part (the setup/MC stuff) it just can't get past that!

I ran out of DVD media but is there a way to shrink the file down like you can with DVD backup movies to make it like a VCD only a VCD-rom or just make it small enough to to be played as an actual CD-rom then I won't have to keep wasting DVD's and can waste cheaper CD-R's! Also can it read CD-RW So I could keep trying and rewriting if it did not work (that being if it at all possible to shrink 1gb to 650 mb or below!)

no i was saying that its illegal for me to make 2 copys of a game i have, nuff said about that. Yes I was in a cranky mood at the time, sorry for the rudeness. I also stated that i have burnt the game at very high speeds with media not rated fo rthe speed it was burnt so my best guess is that it is a bad burn, or bad media. How many times have you backed it up... Also what program are you using to back up the game... I use DVD decypter to make the iso and either NERO or DVD decypter to back it up... Try it in a diff ps2 if possible .

um no a ps2 will not be able to play rw's (unless u got a really good media and laser, BUT sometimes it will not be able to boot again wen u format it heh)
also i doubt u can rip cause it takes too long and too much work unless u are a master of dvd ripping lol
just buy a pack of the cheapest media (i got one at newegg and it works fine for me ^_^)

:
: I use NERO! What can I say I like it! I am using DVD decypter to make the ISO! I am burning at 4x! I am using cogswap as the the loader! With a flip top PS2! Gosh I am almost tempted to get a pirated DVDrip! I don't know how they can get it to be so small of a file like 1 gb to 250 mb! Is it illegal to get a pirated copy if you own the game? If it isn't it would be awsome to put like 29 games on a DVD with a menu if it is possible to make a menu to link the games! Oh well thats over my head at this moment! What program do you suggest I burn it with? CDRwin? Nero? something else?

I made the ISO with DVD Decrypter and wrote it to my ritek G05 disc, slapped it in my PS2 and it worked flawlessly. The HDD on the other hand...
