Dvdxcopy help –
Using dvdxcopy1.3 and the latest ver of nero i first i used the nero in dvdx to burn the movie and it does nothing in my player and on my cpu it gives me an error with a bunch of numbers. So i tried again using stand alone nero to burn the dvd-r and the all that came up in both my player and cpu is the dvdxcopy warning screen. Can anyone tell me what i'm doing wrong? By the way the movie was Hey Arnold and it fit on one dvd-r. i've made 2 coastes don't want anymore
I just used DVDXCOPY to remove the extras in The Big Lebowski, and for some reason, DVDXCOPY can't pick up my A03. I located the tmp directory and burned the files it made using Nero. Nero told me that it couldn't find a few files, and I said burn anyway. It got another warning, saying it might make a bad disc for some other reason. I said continue. Got a perfect DVD.
Don't know what your problem is.
I was using Beta 1 of DVDXCOPY and some old Nero, btw. :-\
Eat Those Gopher Cakes 'Til You Explode!
i just made a dvdr of xXx (Triple X, not a ****o ) with dvdxcopy 1.22 (i think) and i dont think it even made the whole movie......
apparently there are a few issues with 1.3. I use 1.2.2. It's supposed to be the best ver there. Do a search for dvdxcopy on the forum, cause i read about those issues here.
yeah 1.3 has bugs, and it uses a buggy version of Nero or something like that.
for people that have made a dvdr with dvdxcopy, if you choose "Start with Movie (Abandon Menu)" does that mean when you put it in, it just plays the movie right away?
ok this program is a piece of shit
3rd friggin coaster of xXx.......IT WONT GOD DAMN BURN!
it 'rips' it fine onto one cd, but when i burn it, it never completes. i use the 'deafault' engine once, and it f*cked up (didnt burn, just stopped at 20% and shut down)
used nero once, f*cked up (burnt something...but it wasnt what the hell it was)
then i upgraded to the newest nero 5.5.10, and it didnt even burn. some weird argument. then i tried again with nero, and it continued as if it had burned, but nothing happened.
then i tried the default engine again, and it just froze at 12% and royally f*cked my computer up.
for those that are wondering.....i fooled around with it and you have to burn the files that dvdxcopy makes manually or it wont work.
i guess dvdxcopy only likes 1 version of nero....and its not 5.5.10
the movie boots perfectly on my ps2 (the v4) and plays right away but there is a little annoying 'disclaimer' that dvdxcopy puts in there at the starting.... it says
"DVD BACKUP. This movie is a backup for a movie that is already owned etc..." or something like that. Kinda annoying.
My nero that works is v 126.96.36.199(something like that, the one right before this new one) and dvdxcopy 1.2.2 using the nero burn option seems to work fine for me, but I have to not run anything else on my pc while its running cause I got a couple bad burns when running other programs, maybe defragment your hard drive so the movie files it creates are more less broken up and more continuous.
Also some other installed burn programs like disc juggler have caused driver conflicts with the nero burn engine drivers when using dvdxcopy.
i have ntfs file system. no need to defragment
thats the thing.....i wasnt running anything else while i burnt it. i left it alone for about 1 1/2 hours and when i got back it was still at 12% and my computer froze.
but now i know how to make em
Do you want to share your success because i was having the same problem as you were.
