I'm assuming the game "The Guy Game" is on a DVD9 format, size 7,922,944 although if looking at the DVD game properties in Windows explorer, it is showing under 4.2 gig.

Is there a way to back up this type game other than possibly using a dual layer DVD and burner. This is the first game of this type that I've run across with this size. Have already tried using DVD Shrink but it is unrecognizeable format (iso'd the game using DVD Decryptor).

    Any help would be appreciated.

Just a note, have searched and not found any post on this topic other than what seems to be one without and answer on "The Guy Game"

Have been backing up for some time now PS2 media without problem using Sonic Record Now Deluxe 7.

Note: backup is to be used on PS2 modded with Matrix Infinity chip.

    TIA

DVD Shrink ? You must be kidding... That's for MOVIES only. It won't compress PS2 games, how could it do that ? So, well you have two choices:

1, use a dual layer disk to burn the image
2, get the PDX release they downsampled most movies, and it fits to one DVD-R

    regards, Stephen

pS: I doubt you will be able to downsample and re-encode all things alone, so it's much easier and safer to use the PDX release.
