Can ps2 read DVD+RW's? and is 39001 the newest ps2 model?

I think the new version of the ps2 read dvd+r but I'm not sure about dvd+rw. The ps2 version that is older than v4 can't read dvd+r.

My V7 (39001) will read DVD+RWs with no problem. I usually don't use them, because the reflectivity is lower and makes the laser work harder (thus fail sooner), though.

Yes, the 39001 is the newest PS2, as far as I know.

i jus wanted to say that i have a v3 ps2 and mines can read dvd+R perfectly. i only got a dvd+r burner so its the only media i can use.
