I Have a MESSIAH 2 chip and a PS2 v7.
I have burned a PS2 game on DVD+R. If I turn the PS2 on whit the DVD he says: place a PS2..... in the red screen.

use dvd-r my v7 dont like dvd+r and also use recordnow as its best for doing backups. also use ridata dvd-r
Arrrrr, I use Verbatim DVD+R and alchol 120%, DVD Decryptor, and Recordnow max... Me pS2 is v7 w/DMS3 1.6, t'ain't had a problem yet.

Hey Captain, Can you give me an example of when we need to use DVD Decryptor, for backing up PS2 Games ? So far i have been using Alcohol 120%, basically i made images and then burnt the image back onto a blank DVD (+R and -R) ? I have tested with Verbatims 4X (+ and -) and Also i have RiData DVD-R, I have backed up about 14 games now and havnt had any problems. Iam using a Messiah 2 on V4.

uhh...you don't decrypt ps2 games, dvd decryptor will just build a standard iso file much like alcohol builds an mds file, or clone cd builds a ccd file etc....
