    nvm i got it !!!!!!
rarstar do u know what newsgroup programs u are gonna use. there is newsbin4, x-news, and grab it. i use grab it because i think it is easier to use. so if u wanna use grab it go to this link.
    grab it here
then once u download that program open up outlook express and click on the tools drop down. then go to accounts. click on the mail tab and on the right top corner click add... and add a mail. follow the wizard. put in your display name
    EX) John.
then click next. put in your email address your isp provided u.
    Ex) thissucks@earthlink.net
click next. Ok for your isp eclipse.co.uk your incoming mail server is a POP3 server.
Under Incoming mail (POP3, IMAP, HTTP) server put.........................mail.eclipse.co.uk
Under Outgoing mail (STMP) server put............................................ mail.eclipse.co.uk
Click next then your email address that eclipse.co.uk provided u will come up put in the password for that email address. And click remember password.
    Then click finish.

Ok now to set up your news server. Go to tools --> accounts again. and then click on the news tab and then in the top right corner click add then news.
    Put in your display name
    EX) John.
then click next. put in your email address your isp provided u.
    Ex) thissucks@earthlink.net
click next and under News NTTP server put in...................................dnews.eclipse .co.uk.
select my news server requires me to log on because or isp does require u too log on.
So put in the account name and password your isp has given u. leave the box for SPA unchecked. CLICK next then finish. U should be back at the internet accounts box. click close. and it should ask u if you would like to download newsgroups for the news account you added? click on yes. It will now download all the newsgroups.
Once that is done exit outlook express. and install grabit(if havent already) and then when u open grab it for the first time.
Follow the wizard that comes up and it will ask u for your NTTP server and put in dnews.eclipse.co.uk
Then grab it will be ready. now u have to subscribe to binaries.
On the left side click on default server. then click on all groups on default server. all these binaries will come up. I will give u some binaries that u should subscribe too.

    alt.binaries.cd.image.games >>>>these are pc games
    alt.binaries.cd.image.playstation2 >>mostly ps2 rips
    alt.binaries.cd.image.playstation2.dvdiso >>>ps2 full dvd iso's
    alt.binaries.movies >>> avi movies
alt.binaries.movies.divx >>> same as above for different movies

those are the only ones i usually use. under default server click on the binaries u want to update to see what u can download.
for example if u want playstation2 dvd iso's. under default server click on alt.binaries.cd.image.playstation2.dvdiso and once it if highlighted right click on it and select full update. do this for all the binaries u just subscribed too. if u then click on batch.
Batch shows u everything u are downloading and the aprrox. time to completion. u will see the alt.binaries.cd.image.playstation2.dvdiso binaries being updated and if u decided too update other binaries at the bottom u will see boxes 1 - 8. certain isps allows more downloads per ip on newsgroups so when u have say like 8 jobs in queue to be downloaded click the box to found out max how many downloads or isps allows.. for example have the boxes 1 -3 selected. if the updates are all going with the 3 opens. and u dont get unable to connect to dnews.eclipse.co.uk:119 then u can continue. keep clicking one more of those boxes until u get unable to connect to dnews.eclipse.co.uk:119
and once the binaries are updated left click on the binary u want to view and it will load. then look for stuff u want to download and look at the progress by clicking on the batch button.

post back here or pm if u have any further problems rarstar!!

yo rarstar u might not even have to put in a real email address. just give it a try. when u go to create a mail account just put in..... cheers or something it will say likethe specified e-mail address does not appear to be valid, do you want to use it anyways and then just say yes. and just put in cheers and click yes whenever it asked u for your email address when making a mail and news account.
