DVD-R MEDIA that works.
DVD-R MEDIA that works. –
Just want to see what kind of media you guys are using and to let you know what i found out that works perfect so far is Memorex DVD-R. Have burned Timespliters2, BMX xxx, and Lord of the rings with this media useing Record now max 4.5 with Sony DRU-500a. I will put a link here for everyone else if you want to try this media
If others could put where they are getting there media from would be a big help want to try other media mabey cheeper media that works everytime.
well i use either verbs or shintaro(red pack, not yellow) dvd-r media. I found the yellow pack shintaro media didn't work at all, but the red packs work sweatly. If it's a game that I know will get a hell of alot of playtime then I'll burn it on the verb, but if it isn't i'll use a shintaro. I used the shintaro for gta3 and gta vc and i haven't ran into any problems with either. I pay AUD$220 for a spindle of 90 discs, which works out to $2.44 a disc, or US$1.32 per disc. Verbs are abit more expensive, but good for the games i enjoy playing.
I use Imation and Fuji's with great success. I have some Samsung BeAll coming and will let you know how they work.
I use fuji, tdk and verbitim datalifeplus. made about 10 copies so far. No coasters yet. hope this helps
Certified 2x MeritLine white tops work well here. Have also used Apple, Pioneer, Verbatim, and TDK. It boils down to what your laser likes, but you basically can't go wrong with the majority of 2x certified media.
