Has anyone tried the DVD-R from lik-sang? I just recieved mine like two days ago but i cant seem to get them to work properly my ps2 doesnt read it correctly. Has anyone else experienced this problem with the lik-sang product? Can someone help me out? I have a pioneer A04 and i was burning with RecordNow DX. Just for the record i am also a victim of the dreaded 010 bios.

I just bought a Pre-Modded PS2 with the Apple chip from Lik-Sang and received it 1 week ago right when they went down. I sen't them a email message that my unit will not play PS1 games and does not play the DVD Movies unless I eject the disc and re insert then click on browes and then it comes up with the DVD icon and then I click that to get it to work. They told me that they can't help me until there site is back up. Probably a generic message.
Has anybody else had problems with this company? I was told that they are reputable company.

I have a Pioneer 103 and use Amariline and PrimeDisc 240 Min/9.4 GB Double Sided discs with no problem. I am using the Prassi PrimoDVD 2 and it works great. The only problems I had so far is when I use the DVD writer as the source and destination and have it save to hard drive first, it tells me I don't have enough space on my hard drive that has 26 Gigs free. It will work when I use my Thshiba DVD Player as the source though. Also the 103 will not recognize my disc's as 9.4 gigs, only 4.7 gigs. Sombody told me I need a firmware upgrade but when I go to Pioneer the only upgrade they have is older then the one I have. I have to call Pioneer to find out what is up with that. Has anybody been able to use the 9.4 Gig. disc's with any model/brand DVD recorder? I want to copy DVD Movies and just about all of them are over 4.7 gigs.

On the imaging to hard disc, sounds like you've never applied the Px Engine update to PrimoDVD.

Find the Pioneer firmware you need here:

The A03/103 and A04/104 will never be able to burn DVD-9 (single-sided, dual-layered 9.4GB) only DVD-R (single sided, single layered 4.7GB)
