DVD+R or DVD-R

Hi guys, I am a newbie to this whole PS2 backup scene. I just recently bought a LiteOn 4X DVD burner and I am just thinking if I should use DVD+R or DVD-R to do backups on my PS2 games. What do you guys think? Which format would be better? Does it also depends on the version of PS2 as well?

Any help will be appreciated!!

DVD-R should work fine, and is cheaper, so go with that one.

Never had any problems with ritek and tdk-r at multiple speeds. I now use max speed with test and if ok record.
