DVD-R and DVD+R

Hi i have a cd burner! but why i can´t burn a dvd-rw disc? it´s says put in a cd/dc-rw disc! Must i have dvd to burn a game into dvd-rw disc? i mean i have cd-bruner and i gone buy dvdrom then i put the dvd-rw disc into dvdrom and than i can burn???!

Laoan,

CD burners and DVD burners are two quite different things. If I undertand your question, the answer is yes, you need a DVD burner to burn a DVD.

And no, a DVD ROM will not burn. That is for read only. That's what ROM stands for.

Ehh, of course you would need a DVD-burner to burn DVD-rw. I am not sure I fully understand your post but if you buy a burner that supports DVD-rw you can burn DVD-rw. (not that complicated)

i heard about SNES-STATION, it's an emulator for SNES, that plays of the PS2- I have a DMS3 chip installed for about 2 weeks now. I have made"back-ups"

of all me games including some PS1 games. I do have a DVD-R burner.

Anyway, I was just wondering if anyone heard of this emulator for the PS2?

A little off topic. Yes it works ok, can be a little bit laggy. Better if you disable sound.

Do any versions play DVD+RW's? I know my v4 does not.

v5 and up play dvd+rw no problem.

if your in canada futureshop has ao5 for like 150 canadian right now. thats about 100 us

btw i was thinkin bout upgradin to a dual format ao6 or a sony dru 10a wich can e had for like 250 canadian up here just wondern if either of these units can burn ritek go3 at 2x with or without new firmware? or if im stuck at 1x with these on newer units.
any other good dual format dvd burners?
