DVD-R Dual Layer has anyone use media and actually got it working on a ps2

did you mean -r because everyone uses +r and it works

Yeah i mean -R i just got a new burner that burns DVD-R DL and DVD+R DL and just got some DVD-R DL Blanks. i never burn a dual layer disc period SO do you need to patch it any special way or burn it any special way

in dvd decryptor you need to set the book type for your burner to dvd rom
then depending on the chip you have you may need to use toxic dual layer patcher, this is for dvd+r
wheter its the same for -r cant say for sure

i only use Crystal chips. i think is the only way to fly . but is toxic dual layer patcher for matrix chips only?

toxic dual layer is for chips that wont read dual layer.
you can patch it anyway and it will still play even if your chip supports dual layer.
havent had much to do with crystal so not sure if they support it

just to let you know from posts iv read verbatim dual layerd disks are best for ps2 backups
