which dvd-r burner

I'm about to go and buy a burner and I have the choice of two the pioneer a04 and the viastar rs111 just wondering which one is the better

viastar is avail now
pioneer i have to wait for (2-3 days)

I realize you're anxious, but from a long-term standpoint, wait the few days and go with the Pioneer A04.

My reasoning is that it's more compatable with the mainstream software like PrimoDVD and RecordNow Max and I'd be very concerned about support and future firmware updates for the Viastar.

Do the A04 . . . you won't regret it in the long run...
