im so happy i just got myself a new dvd burner :) my uncle gave it to me as a gift. now comes the hard part. im fairly new to the whole dvd burning scheme so i've got a few questions.
1)Which format of dvds (dvd-r or dvd+r) should i use to backup my ps2 games. Which format is the best/most popular?
2)Which brand of dvd media is most popular/recommended/relaible?

1) dvd-r is more compatible with both older and newer ps2s.
2) ritek is a highly rated cheaper dvd media to get. tdks and verbs are the most highly rated but also most expensive.
Any suggestions/recommendations on brands or anything is greatly appreciated.
2X Accu Silvers have worked fairly well for me so far. Just finished a 2nd 50Pc cake and no PS2 coasters with my A04 at 2X with v1.31 2X4All firmware and RNM/DVDDecrypter.
Otherwise, I've used a lot of Verbatims and TDK's reliably--all 2X certified. Currently using some Verbatim Datalife's I nabbed on a big 2 for one sale at Office Depot a few weeks back. Good burns so far. Item#/UPC ends with 94490.
