To avoid any problems with images of your backups just use DVD Decrypter to shoot the images and then afterwards writem them with this great tool.

You can burn all kind of image file types so its a really great app, and free.

dvd decrypter is not illegal? Its an utility to create backups of your own games.

Is now, in the US at least. Shutdown under the DMCA because it removes DVD Copy Protection.

By the way try googling DVDDecrypter all as one word. Last version was 3.5.4.0.

Technically I don't believe it was illegal. But the developer was issued a cease and decist order. Rather than spending all his time and money to fight the case (for something he put out for free) he stopped development. Still the result is the same.

I meant the search on this forum, because Nero was listed I thought lets just post dvd dectrypter here. But since its not legal anymore can a mod remove this thread???

Sorry would not have mentioned it if i knew.

PS: I live in Europe and here dvd decrypter is still on dvds/cds with pc mags as a good utility to use.

the stickied post of nero has not been updated in forever but it does have lots of post of people using it and recommend using it over programs such as nero, alcohol 120%, primo, etc. it is one of the most useful programs that is out there and it is free, which is always a good thing
