This happens when I click play movie from the dvd menu...and I must be pretty because I dont even know where I can rip the whole extras from in this app.
Basically when it says "this dvd will fit on 1 dvdr if the extras are removed" it removes them auto if you pick yes (moves them to the left column of the listing of the files) This program really doesn't give you much of a chance to remove certain files manually...The center arrows let you move what files can be moved. But if you don't pick the 1 dvd with extras removed option, then it will show 2 discs and whats on each one and then you can move certain files off the disc but there really isn't a need to do it then since its on 2 discs anyway.
if you only want the movie, you can rip the .vob's and add them into a movie project with Nero
All i really want are is the movie with the main screen..but when i load up dvddecrypter there are a couple vobs...that exceed 4.7 and i dont know which ones to choose...some are for extras i think...
Which VOB's if there are quite a few?
You have to figure out what files are the movie and what each of the other files are yourself (thats what the purpose of dvdxcopy is, it figures it out for you roughly)
Here is a really good guide from a site where I learned most of what I know about it
All my movies worked fine except for Goldmember. I ripped the main movie files with DVD Decrypter and loaded them into nero, and it tells me verification failed and may not play on a standalone dvd player. It never told me this before...I loaded these files into VIDEO_TS:
and I even checked these vobs in DVD2AVI and they are the menu and the main movie...
I used DVDXCopy on Goldmember, and was able to fit it all on 1 disc minus the extras. All i did was highlight ALL titles to create disc, burnt the 1st, and then shut everything down, and didn't bother with the 2nd, and everything worked out well.
DVDXCopy tells me that the main movie can fit onto one disc...and the main movie reads as 4.5GB in DVDXCopy but when you select "Copy Now" it tells me "Disk1 has too much information. Burn is not possible."
