Disc Read Error !! Help PLZ

Hi guys,
i'm getting some problems on reading some game backups. In games like JAK2, Manhunt or PES3, right after booting the PS2 i get an error saying "Disc Read Error". It doesnt even shows the PlayStation 2 Logo. I only get this error in a few backups, most of them work ok. What can it be ? Bad recording ? I use Nero or Alcohol for burning the cue/bin files. Some tips on burning ? What else can it be ?

could be the type of media you use to burn it on go to riteks,memeorex or fuji. if it does not read after the fact you switch media it could be your chip if it is the magic chip i wouldnt be surprised in my experience the magic chip is unreliable (magic 3.1) it wouldnt play alot of my ps2 games so i stiwtch it out with a ms2 pro.
