Ok so I have the original games, Silent Hill and Ape Escape. I try to back them up using DVd decryptor with RecordNowMax and tried Alcohol 120% and both failed. I have always used Dvd Decryptor with 100% success. Now I cant even get my Messiah 2 to read it at all. It just goes to the browser screen. No load up at all. What do you guys suggest. Reinstall my programs, flash my Sony dru500 burner? I need major help. If anyone has gone through this before I'd appreciate the help. Thanks.

Also, I've been using the same Dvd-r which are Accu at 2x burning . Would 1x make the difference?

Wouldn't hurt to try--many of those are actually 1X discs, but you can get them to go 2X with the proper firmware's loaded. IT's sort of like overclocking a CPU. Some do well for a long time, some crap out in a few weeks. It's a gamble when you push any medium to the max.

If it ain't broke don't try to fix it! But, hell if you can tweak that bastard just a little bit more....hehehe.
