Yes please, The MDF file is a bit like the CUE file when u do a Cue/bin cd-copy. The MDF/CUE contains information on how the disc image (ISO/BIN) is created.

So if u try to backup a game bigger than 3,9gb - Dvddecrypter/Alcohol does a really clever thing and creates the ISO/BIN in smaller files (usually 1gb in size) instead of one big. To keep track of the files a MDF/CUE file is made.
If your pc-HDD is Ntfs DVDDecrypter might make a MDF even tho' u can make files bigger than 3,9gb - Id use the MDF anyways tho' - just to be sure.
