I'm having problems ripping ddr max. Since dsong.bin is a dummy filler file, I replaced it with a 1kb dummy. Next I used sonix dvd scan program to search for dvd checks. The program reported 2 checks at offset: 000104F4 and offset 00010D7C. For some reason, the program could patch the first offset but not the second. Despite this, I created an iso, patched it with a generic ea patch and tried booting with dvd region x. It boots to a black screen and the disc stops spinning. Anybody know whats wrong or how to fix this?

    Its the dvd checks.

Sonix scan makes a file that tells you what it found, go through the ELF and manually make sure they are changed.

It can also be one other thing, if you have nomod (no modchip on your ps2) your rips can be no bigger than 632.5 mb.
