ok so i have a pioneer dvd burner and i dont know whats up with burning .cue and .bin files

I try using nero and then i select the file i wanna burn but then the destination drive is always Image Recorder [CD-R/RW] so i press next and it makes a image file.. i tried burning that image file with nero again onto a dvd but it keeps going back to the image recorder

so i tried using alcohol and burning that image onto a dvd but it says something about not having right format and i fail again

and i tried using alcohol too i selected the .cue file with the .bin file in the same folder but when i try to burn it, it says

    initializing device
    empty disc [dvd]

any help would be greatly GREATLY GREATLY appreciated

    thanks

no....it doesnt...in the days of psx...cdrwin was the software for bin cue files and it wa so simple to get a working bin file....but now...anpother story...i think iso files are more common...and botscren logo editor doesnt recognise isos

What's inside the bin ? Is it a bin from a CD or DVD ??? In Nero go to recorder/choose recorder and select your Pioneer. Then go to recorder/burn image and choose the cue file. Then it should burn it with no problem. Of course a proper Nero version is needed and well, cue/bin is for CD only.

    regards, Stephen

i figured it out on how to record the bin file....need dvd decypter and ultraISO....rip the dvd with dvd decrypter as ISO file and then convert to Bin/Cue using ultraiso....then record it back with dvd decrypter...the only problem is now that the psd file for the bootscreen logo in sample is a ntsc and need pal version

In nero, go to RECORDER and select CHOOSE RECORDER, from the list select your pioneer dvd drive. click ok. click on EXTRAS and select burn image. you should now be able to select your cue file!!!
