Cricket 2005 Pal to NTSC

Hello,

I patched the Cricket 2005 iso with jayteemaster's pal to ntsc converter and now when i put the game in it shows the ps2 logo and then it stays at a black screen. How did you guys get it to work on the ntsc ps2's???

The patch doesn't work. The unpatched ISO works fine off the HDL on a NTSC PS2 but u need to have a multisystem or PAL tv to view it as a non flickering image. I am curious whether a PS2 VGA connector would work in showing the PAL image correctly on a monitor.

is that the only way it will work? cuz i dont have an hdd for my ps2 and i have no pal tv

I have not tried burning the unpatched ISO, I did burn the patched image 3 times with 3 offsets (48, 40 and 32) and it did not work. I assume the original ISO would work fine on a DVD as its the only way the game works on the HDL but with a flickering image for NTSC TV sets.
