Conversion help

Ok I'm ntsc and I bought a pal game (Indycar Series 2005). I make an iso of the game on my pc with dvd-decryptor then I used the third link down at http://geocities.com/jayteemaster2003/ , which is pal-to-ntsc patcher with y-fix. Then i went and burnt the game with nero to a dvd and booted it with cogswap, and i get the pn selector so i choose ntsc with y-fix and it just takes me to a black screen, then i just choose ntsc and I get another black screen. So then I tried without the pn selector and I have color but the screen still is double... so Im wondering if someone could help me with this. Sorry this is so long I figured I would explain everything the best I can.

Edit: also if theres an elf file I can use that will convert pal to ntsc, Ive been searching but havnt found one.
