Clock Tower 3 Problem –
11-21-2009,02:31 PM
Hi, I made a backup of Clock Tower 3. NTSC ofc since im living in canada and it seems to freeze when im at the concert video. About 30-45 minutes into play.
I followed all the steps, and i am also using esr r9b. I patched it using GUI 0.24a. I burnt it onto Verbatim DVD-R's (max x16 speed) i burned with x8 speed. My console version is SCPH-770001. Also, the audio of the sound effects seem to be giving a feed back sound every 1 second interval almost like the TV's static. If anyone has any information on this i would love it if they could share this. It's also said to be compatible on the ESR compatibility list. Could it be the burn speed? or just a factory problem with the disc?

I have Clock Tower 3
Console: SCPH-75001
mc: Datel 64mb Memory Plus with fmcb 1.8
ESR: ESR beta r9b dvdv direct.elf
Sony Code: SLUS_206.33
Patcher: ESR Patch Gui v0.2.4
Media: Sony DVD-R
Burned at 4x using imgburn
I have only ever played about 10 minutes of the game. The audio is fine on mine. The music at parts does sound scratchy.
I will try later to play it about the same length as you and will report back my results.
Well I played for over an hour and no freezing in the game.

with modern media and burners, it's always best to burn at 50% of the blank media's maximum speed.

On yours, do you have the really loud static that cuts in and out randomly?
Hoping someone else has had this problem since my original is scratched and no longer readable...
