Cendyne DVD-R/RW Drive

dunno if this matters or not, but OfficeMax is selling the Cendyne dvd-r for 269.99 with a 40 dollar instant rebated and then a 50 dollar mail-in-rebate. so that comes to about $180 dollars. i hear this is a rebadged 105. also, just wanna make sure. dvd-r's work fine with a V1 Ps2, right? Dvd+r's might not? Thanks. Oh yeah, this deal starts on 1/19.

they did this same sale a couple of weeks ago..
the rebate says it is good from 12/29 to 1/25

yeah heard about this today 2.
does primo,nero and record now support this drive?
v1s can read dvd-rs but dvd+r only work on v 5 + ....i heard.....

My Buddy got one of those drives and found its just a rebadged 105, damn sweet deal......
