    Hi,

This is probably the ultimate n00b question, but here goes...

I'm trying to make a back-up of God of War using DVD Decrypter. I wrote the .ISO and .MDS files to my computer hard drive. Then I tried to write the game to a blank DVD using DVD Decrypter as well, but when I clicked the Burn button, I get the following message:

There doesn't appear to be enough space on the disc to burn this image.

    Image Size: 4,161,520 Sectors
    Disc Size: 2,297,888 Sectors

Would you like to continue anyway?
What should I do? Is there a program that reduces the size of the .ISO file?

Thank you very much, in advance.

god of war is a dual layer disc. You will not be able to burn it with a standard DVD-R

You need to shrink the disc image to fit on DVD5.
Go to alucard.cc & look for info in their forums about doing this, and the tools you'll need.

You could also just use a dual layer disc, DVD+R DL. I know the Crystal chip has a DVD+R DL auto patcher so you don't have to do any shrinking or that "techie" stuff. Just burn it to a DVD+R DL provided that your drive supports that write method.

Do you need a special DVD Burner to do this?

Not necessarily special, your burner just has to support it. Look on the outside of the box, the drive, or use the info drive button on your burning program to see if Dual layer burning is supported. (DL)
