I had version 4.10 that was upgraded to 4.50 and that worked fine, then I got a hold of a full v4.50 and wanted to see if there was any features that weren't installed with the upgrade. Well now i get this funky copying this disc is not supported junk. It has to do with the copyright on the ps2 games. I tried Need for Speed Underground, SOCOM, and Splinter cell. Any help getting past the copyright will be greatly appreciated.

Use something like Alcohol 120% or DVD Decrypter, Even Nero 6 will do the trick.

I know I can use the ones mentioned but I prefered using the RecordNow Max. If anybody knows what I may have done and how to get rid of the error, please let me know. And I realize it can't be a copyright issue because the ps2 games are not copy protected (according to DVD Decrypter).

Ok I found out what may be the problem but need some help figuring it out. RecordNow will not let me build a gi of a DVD, whether it's one that is copy protected, one I burned myself , a movie or a ps2 game. Any help here would be good. Oh I have a optorite dd0203 dvd burner.

thanks bighap but it didn't work. I got the same result: won't let me build a global-image of any dvd (dvd-rom, DVD-r, nor dvd-rw). I'm starting to think i might be the only person with this problem.

You did uninstall the old version first right? Not sure what the prob is, but you might want to try a diff prog. Sounds like that "full version" screwed with your system. Try dvd decrypter.

I uninstalled and reinstalled like 10 times now. I went as far as using a registry program where it searched for all registry entries that had recordnow or stomp, and I deleted them, then reinstalled again. No luck. I know I can use the other programs, I just like and preferred this one.
