Cant backup my MadCatz GameShark 2 v1.1

I have tried to backup my MadCatz GameShark 2 with no luck. I have tried using Apache 3, Ashampoo Burning Studio 6, BlindWrite 5, and just copying the files to my hdd and then trying to use $ony CD/DVD Gen 3 to compile the disc again with no luck. Can some1 out there help me out? thanks

Use CloneCD and enable skip read errors

And FYI: MadCatz didnt make GameShark2 v1.1 At that time it was Datel that made the GameShark. MadCatz bought the rights to produce it from v3 onwards.

Err if you still have trouble, download a copy of alcohol 120% and set the mode to playstation 2

1. I have used Alcohol 120% with PS2 setting...no go it copies about 4.7% and then it stops copying and then A120% gives some kind CIPR or something like that error.

2. MadCatz went from v3, then v4, then v5 MediaPlayer and what i have the new dvd case GS2 which im having problems with. I will post some pics of the cd and dvd cover to help you understand what version im talking about

Just use CloneCD as suggested above.

CloneCD isnt as great as it used to be now than it was about 2-3 years ago. What makes CloneCD copy better than Alcohol 120 or BlindWrite 5 which are used to copy CD copy protected discs? You see the GS5 disc is really about 120 or MB big but if you find the disc size in windows, it says the disc is 600mb+ so theres about 500mb+ of dummy data that prevents it from be copied. I just dont know what to do. Im totally out of ideas.

And have you actually tried it with CloneCD? Or are you just assuming it won't work cos you reckon other programs are better?
I successfully backed up my Xploder v5 with CloneCD, which is the same product (made by Fire International) as the GameShark made for MadCatz that you refer to.

OK I'll grab CloneCD but b4 i do that what did profile did you use? Just plain psx mode or what?
