I've been using Record Now Max to burn .gi imagaes for so long I'm not sure how to use it to burn a standard ISO to disc, or if I even can? Do I use the "creat data disc" option and add my files to that? I did try to do that but my ps2 will only boot the disc to the browser and If I try to boot from there my PS2 returns to the browser again?

My image files look like this:

    SOUND-folder
    SYSTEM-folder
    DATA-dat file
    SECTOR-h file
    SLUS-66 file
    SYSTEM-speeddial

    Thanks

Don't extract the ISO. But in Recordnow, choose write image (as you did when dealing with .gi files) then in the file selection window change the file type from global image (.gi) to iso, and there you go. Then choose the directory where your iso image file is. That is it, you're then ready to burn. And PS2 will boot your disk.

    regards, Stephen

Yeah, my problem was that I extracted the iso. I didn't realize I could just leave it in it's compressed state and burn it.

I burned the iso without extracting this time and it booted up no problem.

    Thanks
