If by "normal" console, do you have an older PS2 or a slimline PSTwo?
If you have the older kind, look up "Independance Exploit"
If you have the newer kind, you will need a mod chip.Troutmask insignia.

Thx for replying, sorry about the vaugueness about "normal " console, ps2 is 3/4 yrs old.
Looked up "independent Exploit" but everytime I clicked to enter site I was sent to a **** site which crashed AOL, also tried with firefox, same result, and recieved trojans. Any futher advice would be greatly recieved

Cheers mate, being doing a bit research on a program called "action Replay " and ive made a slide in device to open tray without pressing eject as recomended in a guide ive found , so will keep you informed , appriciate reply

I bought an xploder cheat cd with the x-link cable, you can pick them up in dixons for 20 quid (I bought mine from game for 30
) make sure you get the pro one cos it comes with an x-link cable.
Then theres a tutorial over at ***** http://www.*****.com/forums/faq.php?...faq_exploit004 which tells you how to install the exploit using the cheat device and provides all the exploits files in a number of save files for different cheat devices, basically you want the .ps2 one.
Sure you can figure something out from there, that's the way I done it.
