Burning w/ CDRWIN –
When you burn a CD-R (.bin+.cue) and CDRWIN says,
"Warning the disc is longer than 74 minutes, do you want to continue?", after you select "yes" does it burn the complete image or is it chopping stuff off at the end? If it is burning the whole thing, why the warning? Is it "overburning"?
Sorry if this is a stupid question, but I'd hate to play a game all the way through, just to find out the ending is missing?!
it's not overburning if you're using an 80 minute disc. i havent used cdrwin in years(there's so much better out there now), but i recall it just being nothing more than a reminder to make sure you're using a blank cd with enough space.
you casnt fit more than 74 minutes worth of data on some 74 minute cds(usually not more than 2-3 minutes), and that would be overburning since you're burning more than the media supports.
but if you're using 80 minute media, just click "yes" and it'll burn fine
I've burned a couple this way and so far there is no trouble.
I end up using CDRwin because sometimes it's the only thing that works. After Nero, burnatOnce, Alchohol 120%, etc...If any of these fail, I can always count on CDRWin @ 8X = Perfect Burn.
