Burning speeds –
09-09-2004,10:07 AM
hi guys i have just found this good and VERY active forum, just want to know what u guys think about burning speeds, i have always used the classic 2x on dvds using ALCHAHOL120, but i have read posts from guys burning at 4x/8x, waht are u guys burning at???
I prefer to burn at 2x ,as its the tried and tested way, would hate to start to burn at 4x/8x only later find out that some oart of teh game cannot be read by the ps2

Don't write faster than 4x, excpet you have a decent writer + very good quality media (no, Ritek is not that good for faster write speed than 4x). Cheap media will result in so high PI/PO rates that skips and freezes happen.
