A few seconds after it started the burning process, "error 1" showed up, after I click on retry "error 2" is there and it won't go away after I click retry.
What may be the problem here? Anything I did wrong or did not do???

I know a couple of people who have gotten this error. Here are a few things you should check:
- Make sure your blank disc is clean. Trying to write to a blank that is dusty just causes all sorts of problems.
- If you have any programs like Roxio's Drag-to-Disc or Nero's InCD, get rid of them. Drag-to-Disc is especially problematic.
- Keep your burner's firmware up to date. You can find the latest version of your burner's firmware here.
- Try selecting 4× as your write speed. Your burner won't go below 4× with that media, anyway, so selecting 2× might the problem. I noticed that DVD Decrypter ignored your selection and jumped right up to 8×.

thanks, but
the discs were clean, i've tried bout 5 of them.
i don't have Roxio, i do have nero 6.0.1 but it wasn't running in the background.
i tried with 4x with a different game's ISO but same error popped up again.
no IDE cable here because it's an external and uses USB 2.0
anymore suggestions?

Did you check to make sure your firmware's up to date?

Well, the only other suggestion I have isn't one you probably want to hear. Try a new burner. I don't necessarily mean a different brand or model, but a new unit even if it's the same model.
I bought a Sony DRU-700A drive, and within two weeks it stopped being able to burn the lead-in on any DVD-R. (Kind of like what yours is doing.) I exchanged it at the store for a new unit. Same damn thing happened after another month.
Unfortunately the exchange period expired, so I Wal-Mart swapped it (bought a new unit, put broken one in box, and returned broken one) for a DRU-710A and this one's finally working consistently.

MDS should be burned with alcohol. you can also try changing the interface to winaspi32. in most cases you can just restart and it will prolly work though.

Tools,settings,I/O,interface.
ELBYCDIO is one of the best, SPTI (which is a part of XP) is the most stable.
