    please don't post this twice.

You need to de-rar it with winrar, found at www.winrar.com
that should then give you a .bin and a .cue or maybe just a .bin or maybe a .iso

    you never know.

I tend to use cdrwin to burn .bin and .cues but whatever floats your boat. My version of nero doesn't support .bin burning

but you just click File --> Open --> scroll down the drop down menu at the bottom until you find .bin.

then navigate to the .bin and burn it. Simple.

Within Nero just goto "File" then "Burn Image" and browse to your .Iso file. I'm unsure if this works with .Bin Files though, so you might want to try CDRWin. If you get an error about the .Cue file, edit it with a text editor and remove the Path out of it.

    That's correct irvgotti, not possible.
    Try unraring again.
May have been a bad download or badly packed .tar file you downloaded.

TAR file? I think your finger slipped between the keys as I don't know of any group that uses the Unix system method of TARring game image files...

All game download from xdccs are .tar(s).
So (1)Untar using winrar - get all .r01,.r02 etc including the nfo
    (2) double click on any of the small 20 mb .r01,.r02 again and unrar the bin/cue.
    (3) burn the bin/cue using whatever u use.

All games downloaded from news groups and FTP sites are .rar(s), so you would unRar them, not unTar them (which is a standard Unix term and command line function.)

Under Windows, one creates or unRars a Rar set with WinRar and under Unix creates or unTars a .tar or .tzg file with the Unix command TAR (and then typically does a PackageAdd.)

What you're implying will confuse the newbies...
