HI guys, i have a couple of questions that maybe you can answer for me.

i currently bought a ps2 for myself and i have no problems backing up ps2 games as they all boot fine. what i would like to know is that i would like to buy a ps2 for the kids, not a new one but a pre-owned one. it has a mod chip but before i buy it i would like to know if i would be able to just burn the ps2 games like i normally do or will i have to patch the games for them to work?

the old machine has a chip in it. i am not sure what it is but say it is 2 year old... this machine would be for the kids and i would never let them have the original discs as they would destory them. So burning a copy of the games is a must.

If i do have to patch them would someone kindly point me in the right direction on where to get these patches and so forth.
