    i just read in a magazzine that it might be posible to record cd's with your playstaion 2 since sony new laser have an upgraded fetzer valve in the 330001 and above series ps2's. i'm trying this when i get home to see if is true or not. if anybody know this please let me know.

    Arrrrr, there be one problem wit that theory. How ya gonna copy something into memory ta be burned??? I knows that PS2 does NOT have 700mb of free onboard ram to store a CDimage on, nor does the PS2 have the capability of even creating an image. Alas, my hardy...I thinks ye've been had.

    i got this info from page 25 title of article is chronic squinting of EGM magazine issue 164 the one that has the driver 3 game in the front page, this info is from sony and the replacements of the lens drive. i'm not lying the but i can't get it to work here is what it said tap up-down-up-down-left-right-left-right-B-A-START TO OPEN the cd burner menu.. but i don't know what the B-A part means.

    Uh... that's a Konami code from the NES days. You sure issue 164 isn't an April issue... as in April Fool?

    No, I believe you that you saw it. It's just that it is the cheat code for the Nintendo game Contra. I think that maybe they were trying to be funny or something. A ps2 laser will not write cd's. It will only read them.

    select and then start was if you wanted 2 players. Believe me, I used to play that game alone and with friends for hours upon end. I could play through it 5 times in a row on my first life!!
