best cheap dvd-r media to burn with

Best Cheap dvd-r media...... seems like an oxymoron

Anyway I go for G04 and Taiyo Yuden. Seem to be the best working for PS2s

Prodisc is also a good brand for cheapness..havent had a problem with them yet.

FOR PS2...RITEK ALL THE WAY...why? It's the BEST CHEAPEST brand there is out there.

sweet, one more Q, is the ps2 the friendliest to dvd+r,dvd-r,dvd+rw,dvd-rw, blah blah blah? my ps2 is pretty old, got it on feb, months after the crazy shortage launch.

I think most PS2's will only play DVD- but some will play + so your better gettin the - ones

Ridata are the best I have ever used and only ran me 50 cents cdn per dvd-r.

i dunno bout ritek , but for me and my v7 , now with a v4 mobo but same 400c laser...
i forts used sony dvd-r cuz they were on sale, they are ok , but after trial and error , ilve settled on Maxell dvd-r ,a 15 pk only cost 8$ at staples today so i re-uped on amy supply and bought 4 pks lol thats 60 dvd-r's for $32 , the dvd-r's them self are the gold ones , (comes with promo marker for writing on them) i like the quality and i never ever get any screaches or weird noises from my laser tryign to focus , ill try ritek next time i run out but i do recommend the maxell dvd-r
