Ok, Is there a way to get this to work on a v9 DMS3(v9) ps2? The original wont even work. It works on the older ps2's, so i was seeing if there is a trick im missing.

Hey. Yeah I have the same problem as u. Ive got the same spceck, v9 dms3. Ive tried 2 backup's and neither work very well. Second time I limited the writing speed to 1x and it seems to run a little better. It takes about five-six goes till it works. Try opening the info on ur memory card, then putting the disk in, going back then slecting the ps2 disc icon. otherwise just turn the ps2 off, turn it on again and put the disk in.
Well i upgraded the dms3 ver9 bios and my backup works 100% now..and wasnt working at all until i did the upgrade..
Arrrrrrr, I've seen this a few times now. Yes, if'n yer havin' problems with BGII ye need ta upgrade the bios on yer DMS.
Upgrade to which version? dms3 v9 has already 1.8 firmware!
Arrrr....re-flash it again. I've seen one case where a fellow had to restore back ta 1.6, then put 1.8 back on again. There be many a discussion 'bout this on DMS's forum on their site.
