I've done some searches, and I think I've come across how to do Swap Magic 3.6 with backups of Gameshark, etc.

I was wondering, if this is right, which all types of code programs does it work with? And if it's not right, how exactly do I get it to work, if it's at all possible and what programs will that work with? Gameshark, Action Replay, etc.

Anyways, here are the steps I believe you take?

    1. Insert the Swap Magic 3.6 CD version.
    2. Boot up the Gameshark/Action Replay.
    3. Choose codes, go to boot game.
    4. Insert Swap Magic 3.6 DVD version.
    5. Boot to that, load up game backup.
    6. Play with cheats.

well i have the real version of AR Max and a modchip installed on my ps2 i dunno if that changes things, probably does, at any rate...
i got an iso for swap magic DVD, burned it
loaded AR Max, selected cheats for Kingdom Hearts 2, hit start, tossed in the swap magic dvd, ensure disc is entered (like it always does when it cant read a disc) put in my backup of KH2 and says same thing... so no this doesnt work, not with my current setup anyhow, maybe with an unmodded one it would

Mr. w0rf (Hahaha! Star Trek reference!), I hate to burst your bubble but me and some friends tried that already on an unmodded PS2, and it does not work.

You are going to need a modchip.
