I'm new the the PS2 softmod scene. So I'm hoping someone can point me in the right direction.

I want to be able to put a disc in the tray and copy it to the HDD or copy an ISO to my USB stick and copy the game to the HDD.
Also, I'd like to be able to run backup discs.

I have a PS2 fat SCPH 39001, network adapter and FFXI with the 40GB HDD.
I installed FMCB 1.8 to the sony memory card but thats as far as I've gotten.

Ive done this stuff with my Wii but PS2 softmod is new to me.
    PLEASE HELP!!

its PS2 not PS3 .lol anyway since you have already installed the FMCB and are you able to run FMCB ?

do you want to run games from Internal HDD or external HDD ? i think you are talking about Internal HDD then you need WinHIIP to copy games from PC to PS2 HDD then use either HDL or OPL to run the games .

HDL already comes with FMCB if you installed from Noobie package .

anyway you can add any elfs to FMCB menu via FMCB Configurator .check the FMCB Configurator .to find more info about it .

anyway here is the video how to do that :
