hey guys, i'm new to these forums and having little experience with backing up my ps2 games, i can backup my dvd5 games no prob, but had a couple of questions on the two mentioned games.
what dual layer media should i be buying for this, i get the g04 riteks for the dvd5 discs
also can someone point me to a guide for backing up these 2 games, as far as i know you copy the dvd(dvd decrypter), apply a hack, then burn to your dvd9 disc
Thanks for the help guys

Gran turismo 4 wont backup to a dvd9 properly, it has to do with dual layer and the fact that sony put in some good copy protection so that the layer remains invisible unless its read by a ps2. Dont know about god of war, but there is a dvd5 rip available on the net.

Both games can easily be ripped to a DVD5 with kits available from Backuptools - you have Sonix to thank for both rip kits.

I guess the above posts already mentioned ripping to DVD5.
If you ever get DL media, get Verbatim. It's much better than Ritek, Memorex and others on the market.
