Backing up DL games

I'm relatively new to all this but I've succesfully backed up all my SL games (about 20) using Decrypter & Alcohol. I ran into trouble with GT4, burn failed halfway through, unfortunately I don't remember the error message - it was a few days ago. DL discs are still too expensive here to be making coasters. Are there any tricks to backing up DL compared to SL e.g. have I missed a setting on either Decrypter or Alcohol? Or could it be media related? I was using TDK which Decrypter identified as RICOHJPN-D00-01.

I know that you can reduce the size of GT4 to be operational for a single layer disc. Google is your friend.:)

Also the best media cd or dvd is actually vertamin.

Try to see if you can reduce the games size, that will be better so you don't have to use a DL disk.

Thanks for that, I wasn't aware shrinking was an option, just assumed it would cause problems. I'll try it out.....& yes, I agree, Verbatim are excellent.
