Back up game help.

Hello I am new to burning ps2 games and have been having problems loading games such as Manhunt 2 and DBZ Budokai 2, which I believe both are around 4gb. I use Verbatim 8.5gb DL discs and have Free Mcboot v1.8 on my PS2 and patch the isos with ESR. Any ideas why they may not be loading at all? Any advice would be appreciated.

Why do you burn 4gb game on a DL (dual layer) when it can easily fit on a SL (single layer) disc, try burning on SL PS2 doesn't take kindly burned DL's at least my doesn't.

Oh, ok thanks for the advice I'll definitely have to buy some SL discs then and see if that helps. Much appreciated though.
