just wondering if anyone tried using a downloaded gs2, ar, or swap magic iso, burned it to a cd-r, and had it work...

i wasted about 5 cds and tried multiple files that i got off torrent sites, they all seemed like they would work, but i guess im slow...is their sumthing i missed out on?

i basically downloaded the file, converted the bin to iso, used nero to burn image, burned it, popped the cd-r into my ps2, and got that annoying "please insert a playstation or playstation 2 format disc"

    any ideas?

please tell me you have a chip in the ps2?....otherwise they won't work.....if you do have a chip, gs2/ar2 are hard to back up you will need to use clone cd to back them up, if you downloaded an iso it should work, but i don't know.
