anyone know how to ID this game?

i have this old backup, that i was too short sighted to label, that i have no idea what the game is. it's a japanese shmup, and i can't read the title. i know i could look up the media ID, except it doesn't have one! well, it has one, but it's PBPX_952.01. that's the file system.cnf points to. the rest of the files are like this:

Grand Theft Auto 3 = PBPX_952.01

Game been patched by paradox this i have found at another site i think Paradox have patched games in the past and use this number for it. But when i am wrong correct me !!!!

The boot file PBPX_952.01 is not this game's id. I don't know where it originally came from (could be paradox as Experiment says). They use some method that creates this default boot file instead of using the game's actual boot file. I've had two games which were using this PBPX_952.01 boot file id, one being Capcom vs. SNK 2, and the second being Tekken Tag. You can find my previous posts about Capcoim vs. SNK 2 in this thread. There seem to be lots of other games out there with this same PBPX_952.01 boot file id also.

This looks like Rez to me, you can even tell by the file REZ.CVM. If you like, you can compare it to my Rez's FileList.txt file (created with IsoBuster), which is already sorted in ascending order, attached in this post.

EDIT: I've already compared your FileList (unknown game) to my FileList (Rez), after removing the LBA info in my list, and they are identical. The only difference of course is the boot file, which should be SLUS_203.44 if this is the USA version. If your game doesn't work, you can try rebuilding it with my FileList.txt file, just make sure the boot files match of course ;).

Would of thought it obvious it was Rez, from the file 'REZ.CVM'

Thats the id for a version 1 utilities disc for an SCPH-10000 series console, the one banned in Japan, since it has a tendancy to play U.S. DVD's, it was recalled, and replaced by the version 2 utilites disc, PBPX_952.11. those are not, however, the files that should be on one.
