Hey guys I'm about to join the family and buy a Sony Dru-500a DVD burner, and I was wondering did you guys who own or owned this burner have any problems after the first 2 weeks? This puppy is a little pricy, and I was thinking of getting a warrenty just in case but it itself costs quite a bit

.

Also how is the build quality and where is it made?

getting a warranty? are the drives themselves covered by a 12month manufacturers warranty?
