Waaait a second...now I know that Balto never lies, but I'm thinking this could be done. The game doesn't need dvd-checks reinserted, and all the discs would only need the non-redundant data used [once]. I know that games like Parrapa would still suck (much of the video ripped), but still...some might prefer 1 dvd-r instead of 3+ cd-rs (when was the last time you saw V-Rally 3 on a.b.c.i.p.dvdsio, Balto?).
I'm guessing you'll need to understand how to build a game with the cd/dvd gen, and obviously do it right. I'm not saying it will act like the PROPER dvd version, but its better than re-d/l'ing several gigs. This isn't like a shattered crystal...data is data...
Basicly what I'm asking for is to be proven wrong with proof ("NO" and "charlie_ps2 said so" isn't proof enough).
