I searched the forum and didn't find any posts about using Alcohol 120% to make PS2 Games. I had a bad burn with CRDWin so I decided to try Alcohol since it has CloneCD capabilities (able to make exact duplicates even with copyprotection like SafeDisc). In addition, it can burn .cue, .ccd, .iso, .cdi. So there is no need for CDRWin since this burns them.

I have only tried the burning of a .cue (CDRWin) image and it works great at 4X. 5 completely successful burns with the default settings except the mode changed to Raw DAO.

I am going to try the duplication abilities of it as soon as I find a retail CD to backup.

Anyone else use this at all? So far I really like that application.

Fireburner also handles Bin/Cue format natively.

CDRWin works flawlessly in most cases, especially with a legit key. Your bad burn with CDRWin was likely due to a illegit key being detected by the app which once discovered causes it from that point on to burn coasters, even though it looks like everything went fine. Jeffie's little way of saying you should have bought his proggie...

Arrrrrrrrrr, or if'n ye're a patient one, ye can burn at 1x with out having ta purchase a registration key. Of course in today's age, I ain't see'n many a folk with to much patientce any more...so I don't. Personally 1x is only about 10-15 more min time on average...so whats the hurry???
