Add/remove files to a DVD image.
Add/remove files to a DVD image. –
Does anybody know how to create an exact image of a game and then add or remove files from the image and then burn the modified image? I'm asking because If I am able to do this, I might be able to make a backup copy of Smackdown and add new music to it.
The tools I have right now are, Nero, discjuggler, record now(version that came with my dru-500a), iosbuster, and MFAudio.
You might be able to do so while ripping it to CD, not sure is you can do so while keeping it in DVD format though. Look for tutorials in the ripping section. They may spark some ideas.
dump all the files with isobuster, replace the ones you want to replace, recompile the image and burn with record now max.
I have a Sony DRU-500a burner and it doesn't work with RecordNow Max, the wizard is the only thing that works with it. Is there a way to get Recordnow Max to work properly with my burner or use Nero or Discjuggler to do the same things?
I just downloaded the newest patch for Recordnow Max and it works with my dvd burner.
I'm going to try what you said Bgnome
I'll let you know how it goes.
How do I recompile the image?
I haven't tried cd/dvd gen yet.
I don't know how to use that program very well.
How would I go upon creating a DVD image with it that will burn on Recordnow Max, discjuggler, or Nero?
I already took the files off of my Smackdown disc with isobuster and manually overwrited some of the music files with my own music.
the images created with cd/dvdgen will burn with recordnowmax and nero . I know this very well. (Hint: rename the output file to IMG or i think its RAW in nero's case.)
How exatcly do I make the image with cdvdgen?
I already extracted the contents of the game onto my hardrive.
I draged and droped the files into cdvdgen and then I saved the .ccz file.
Do I have to put anything in cdvdgen for Disc Name and Volume?
