!!!_cd-rips Dont Boot_!!!

Hi all,

I just wanted to know about the other people here which still use cd-rips and play them on there ps2.
I have a ps2 modded with a messiah2pro so I cant realy say its because i have a "lame-old-modchip" it's approx 6/7 months old. So it cant be that.

I burn alot of cd-rips and i've noticed that only the (miracle/kalisto) rips are working lately and the other groups just have "lame" rips which arent booting or missing alot or just give you a total black screen.
(or what happens alot lately with colin mcrae 04 2cd rip (cd1) or MRN's rip of Freedom Fighters (the last two games of dot hack for example) -> that the ps2 says there is a ps2-disc in but wenn you push to play in the mem-cd-menu it just turns black and returns to the same mem-cd-menu)
And that is happening alot lately.

So my question is: Is this only happening to me is my ps2 ****ed or arent there any good groups(rips) anymore which can seem to rip a working bootable cd-rip?

Hope someone or all of you can share your way of thinking about this and tell me your story about cd-rips because i wanna know whats going on (dont flame thats lame)

well ive experienced similar things, dothack2 etc etc.
some grps are just too lazy to put the disc in and see if it boots. u will see they get nuked cuz of it

havent tried all those games u mentioned, but i dont think u have to worry about your ps2. altho i would start to use dvd if u can since the laser is a worry.

well to be honest i aint worried about the laser but a having a dvd burner is always nice (to bad i dont have on) but nevertheless a nuke is okay but we need some group like kalisto/miracle which do a 1 time release and which works because this is kinda becoming annoying burning all those none-working cdrs and not getting a working version (proper/real) in return by the same or another group.

Please share other info or things related people

Oh shame, the games which your downloading for free are't working, those lazy groups, they're not fulfulling their obligation to you...... oh wait, that's because they dont ****ing have one.

If you weren't the kind of asshole that downloaded every game for free, this wouldn't be an issue. This isn't a problem that needs to be discussed here, now hit the road.

yah especially in the cdr/dvdrips forum.

yakuza, there will always be a proper (by the grps who do care about standards and feel they have an obligation to the scene).. so if u still have probs then u must be doing somethng wrong :P

not always. i dont ever recall a working proper of dothack 2 that didnt crash at one point or another.

indeed prisoner1138 most games of the not very well "known" groups dont proper games at all and thats a shame

Actually I don't because I really just use DVD-R now

And even when I did used to get Rips of FXP, which was a long time ago now, I didn't really bother with many of them, I just don't see the point in getting every game.
