im just downloading it now, then im going to shove a torrent up so we can all share the bandwidth load together instead of it raping the BW on your server dude. ill have it up with in the next hour or two and then ill post a link. Just a bit annoying for people who don't have premium accounts on RS, MU etc and wimpienl as you say your bandwidth isnt going to take it for ever lol!

Those number of downloads is surpricing me, so many people playing around with linux on their ps3, for me personally only reson wil be easier browser and more multimedia options.[/lang]

Not to be an ass but I did already make a tutorial like this, To get wifi working you must install the pre-reqresits. to do that go here

well my installation isnt going anything like in the tut, its going through a full install process currently, i have not been greeted by a ubuntu screen after 30 seconds lol, i think the mirror provided on here may be a different one to the 3 part download in the tut..maybe? anyway its installing to my external hdd ill let you know how this goes, it is odd that its installing to the external hdd that the images were on :S odd...

well i now have working linux on my ps3 on a sd tv....but i installed ubuntu and ended up with debian. interesting
the file i made mirror is from madshaun1984 from PS3Hax.net, you can find it there in download section, same file (only took a day to download)Quote:

I got ubuntu started up but i cant login i tried with the onscreen keyboard and a usb keyboard but every time i press login it restarts, what am i doing wrong ?
